In Hotel Iris, your home away from home. Hotel Iris is a family-owned hotel, founded in 1989 by the family Dieryckx-Visschers, nowadays owned by the second generation. Our hotel consists of two buildings and is located in the heart of the classified Dumont quarter, one of the oldest residential areas of the Belgian coast. This is the location where the legendary architect Dumont built his villa “l’Oiseau Bleu”, directly across the boulevard that leads to the beach and the sea. On May 1 of the year 1999, Hotel Iris bis opened its doors. Hotel Iris and Hotel Iris bis are harmoniously situated on the domain. Thanks to underground passageways these two buildings form one entity. Outside the buildings, a unique private garden has been created. You will find cosy corners where you can relax, at 30 meters from the beach!

Iris Hotel has 23 rooms, some with sea view, others with garden view. We’ll welcome you in a warm atmosphere of natural hospitality, thanks to our personalised approach you’ll feel right at home!
Iris Hotel serves you a generous continental breakfast. Assorted cold meats, several types of cheese and cheese spread, speculoos paste, a wide range of jams, smoked salmon and fresh fruit. Hot dishes such as boiled or scrambled eggs and bacon presented with a wide selection of breads. Hot drinks are served at the table. When the weather is good, you can enjoy your breakfast at the terrace. In one word … delicious!
The beautiful and cosy lounge is an ideal setting to relax alone or with friends. You can enjoy a variety of beers, soft drinks, coffee and tea, liquors and ohter alcoholic refreshments. In addition, the bar offers a selection of excellent wines.
One of the three gates leads you to our private garden surrounded with nicely trimmed hedges. A meandering garden path surrounded by blooming roses and trimmed boxwood leads to an open space between our two buildings. Thanks to several cosy corners, you can rediscover the garden at any time of the day and the year. This green oasis on 30 meters form the beach wil astonish you.
